We are a busy bunch of quilters that strive to provide quilts as our small and humble way of saying "thanks" to our returning troops. Rita Pennington (garipenn@att.net) is our "Drill Sergeant" and she keeps the (quilting) troops moving and motivated. We have 6 monthly sew-ins North of I88: St. Charles, Elgin, Rolling Meadows, Crest Hill, Geneva and Montgomery. See side bar for more info.

Nice Job!
A few of us drove up to Beloit, WI yesterday and we cut till we dropped. Tina, thank you. You have a nice large room for future sew-ins. Show 'n Tell was also a great treat! The sew-ins are scheduled for the first Wednesdays of the month.
I also like the new look, very professional. We had a great time and thanks to Rita and her crew for coming up and getting us started. Big huge thanks to Tina for getting everything ready. I will be quilting for a few days. Brought home 6 tops from Alberta and another five or six from Tina and Sandy. Wow can you believe the dedication of the people you love and respect our troops. Vicki
YES, I can believe it! If it weren't for our troops, we wouldn't be quilting, right! I believe it won't be long before you will be filling the house with piecers and for your sake, more quilters! Your area is known for your generosity.
You all did a great job. I know firsthand one person can't do it alone.
