We are a busy bunch of quilters that strive to provide quilts as our small and humble way of saying "thanks" to our returning troops. Rita Pennington (garipenn@att.net) is our "Drill Sergeant" and she keeps the (quilting) troops moving and motivated. We have 6 monthly sew-ins North of I88: St. Charles, Elgin, Rolling Meadows, Crest Hill, Geneva and Montgomery. See side bar for more info. Join us on Facebook: Illinois Quilts of Valor
Thank you!

Few hours but a lot done!
It's amazing how much 9 people can get done in such a short time! We were making tops, pressing finished tops, and making kits last night. The next scheduled RWW is in July and I think we're almost ready. There are a few tops at the shop waiting for binding and I'll be picking up quite a few more that will be in need of binding this weekend. Let me know how many you want and I'll get them to you via the shop. And thank you for that!
Rita
