We are a busy bunch of quilters that strive to provide quilts as our small and humble way of saying "thanks" to our returning troops. Rita Pennington (garipenn@att.net) is our "Drill Sergeant" and she keeps the (quilting) troops moving and motivated. We have 6 monthly sew-ins North of I88: St. Charles, Elgin, Rolling Meadows, Crest Hill, Geneva and Montgomery. See side bar for more info. Join us on Facebook: Illinois Quilts of Valor
Thank you!

Save the date
I announced that we now have a new sew in location....it debuts on October 14, at Christ the Lord Lutheran Church, 12n462 Tina Trl, Elgin, IL 60124. Cross Streets: Between Linda Ln and Highland Ave, 3 blocks west of Randall Road in Elgin at 10 AM until 2 PM. We have over 20 tops (not including the tops coming in at Batavia this Tuesday!), needing backs made and batting cut. If you can come to lend a hand (sewing machine, scissors), that would be a good thing!
